MARCUS PONTELLO CREATOR, DIRECTOR, PRODUCER (they/them)

Marcus Pontello is an artist, performer and clothing designer from Houston, Texas and is debuting as a documentary filmmaker with Friday I’m In Love. Their self generated art often arrives as expressions of video art, drag performance and fashion. Marcus has worked in the costume department for television, film, and live entertainment including American Horror Story: Coven, HBO’s Treme, and Dallas Buyers Club and the Houston Ballet. Marcus holds a B.F.A. in Theater from The California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) and is also a proud alumni of Houston’s High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, class of 2006.
